Travel / Lodging
Plan Early: May is a busy season in New York City. Hotel rooms and airline connections are at a premium. In order to save money and take advantage of travel discounts we suggest you make your reservations as soon as you can.
Dress Code: Business casual is appropriate for all PME conferences. Large spaces such as theaters and ballrooms are sometimes too hot for some and too cold for others. We encourage you to dress in light layers and to bring a sweater, shawl or blazer.

All Sessions will take place in the Joseph Urban Theater on the Mezzanine level of Hearst Tower (300 West 57th Street, at 8th Avenue. The building entrance is on 8th Avenue), the most environmentally-friendly office tower in New York City history. It is the first occupied “green” commercial building in New York City to receive a Gold Rating under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system by the US Green Building Council.
Hearst Tower is a secure building. You will be required to show photo ID when you enter the building each day and will be given a coded Visitor Badge that you must wear at all times.
